IDP Proofing Guide

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure compliance and security in our electronic prescribing system, we require all providers to complete the identity proofing (IDP) process. This is a mandatory step to enable ePrescribing in OneView.


Here’s a quick guide to help you through the IDP process:


1. Preparation: Please have your state medical license, NPI, DEA number, a government-issued photo ID, a mobile phone, and a credit card in your name ready.


2. Start the Process: Open the IDP invitation email from infinidadmin@drfirst.com and click on “Enroll now.”


3. ID Proofing Options: If you have previously completed identity proofing, you may have the option to bypass some steps. Otherwise, select the option to proceed with new identity proofing.


4. Enter Your Information: Fill in the required fields, avoiding special characters in your address. Include your mobile number as you will receive a text message with your transaction number. Enter the first 8 digits of your personal credit card number to enhance the verification success rate.


5. Verification Steps:

- Respond to security questions about your financial history.

- Scan the provided QR code and use your mobile to photograph your ID documents and take a selfie (please remove any glasses).

- Check the status on the same page where you scanned the QR code.


6. Finalize the Verification: Once you pass the verification, you will receive an email and text with a verification code. Enter this code as instructed in the follow-up email to complete the process.


7. Access OneView: Upon successful verification, log into OneView to start ePrescribing.

- Completing an eRX will auto-activate your account. This must be done within 7 days of your ID proofing. Otherwise, you will need to REPEAT the identity-proofing process.


Please note: The verification code received is valid for 7 days only.
