In the Clinical Summary, under the patient’s Prescriptions list, an icon indicates when an ePrescribed prescription has expired due to not being signed by the provider within 30 days of entering it in the patient’s chart.

Submitting a New Prescription
If you would like to submit a new prescription for the medication, you must discontinue the medication by clicking the Remove icon and then adding the medication again.
