Prescriptions versus Medication Orders

In OneView, Prescriptions include e-prescriptions sent to external pharmacies for non-treatment medications. Prescriptions also includes both prescriptions entered by providers using OneView and ones initiated by a care team member in CWOW. Medications consists of treatment and home medications ordered for the patient in CWOW. Treatment Medications are medications administered to patients during dialysis and Home Medications are ones prescribed for patients to take at home.

The Medications link located under the Clinical Details section of the chart will display the patient’s medications in a pop up modal. Prescriptions are the default view.

The modal is moveable.  You can move or resize the modal to access the patient chart seamlessly without closing it.
