The ESKD Quality Metrics Dashboard (QMD) is available by selecting Analytics from the Home page or the left navigation menu. |

Access
The dashboard is available to physicians, AHPs, and practice users with Practice Super User access.
Patient Population
The dashboard will include data for a physician’s ESKD (End Stage Kidney Disease) patients attributed to DaVita who are 18 years old or older.
AKI (Acute Kidney Injury) patients are omitted.
Patients will be attributed to physicians using the DQI (DaVita Quality Index) methodology. The only difference from the OneView attribution methodology is when the patient has no primary physician assigned in CWOW. The patient is attributed to the physician who signed the last order in this case.
Options for Viewing Data
There are two views available: My Patients and My Practice. | |
My Patients | Displays the patients for whom the physician is the primary nephrologist. All physicians and Practice Super Users (read-only) have access. |
My Practice | Includes patient population data for all physicians in a specific practice. This feature is only available to physicians who have set up their practice association in OneView > Settings > Practice. |
AHP and Practice Users Viewing Options
AHPs can use the dashboard to review quality metrics for their collaborating physicians’ patient population.
AHPs and practice users must select the physician from the dropdown. AHPs will have access to the same "My Patients" view as the physician chosen. | ![]() |
Metric Details
The metrics sections are Missed Treatment/No Show, CVC Patients, Home Patients, Transplant Waitlist, and Patient Hospitalization Rate. |
Data will only be displayed if a physician has more than five patients attributed to a metric’s denominator.
The data is taken as a snapshot in time and will not be updated if something changes, e.g., if a patient’s primary nephrologist changes or practice association is completed. However, the practice data will be visible after the next update, which occurs mid-month. The date the data was last updated appears at the top of the dashboard.
The metrics are measured monthly, and the graph shows data up to the previous six months.
The most recent month’s metrics and the data date range are located in the shaded header above the graph. |
The graph's blue bar designates the physician’s patient population metric.
The spark lines enable physicians to compare their performance with that of all physicians in their DaVita division.
The red spark line shows the bottom 20%, light green shows the top 20%, and dark green shows the top 5% of their division. |
Hover your cursor over the blue bar or any data point to obtain the month and percentage. |
Transplant Waitlist
For the Transplant Waitlist, the graph displays the most recent month of data for the six status summary categories. The categories are:
|
In addition, underneath the graph, up to six months of prior waitlist monthly performance is listed.
No Data Available
“N/A” and “No Data Available” message appears when there is not enough data to calculate the metric at that time. | ![]() |
View Patient List
Each metric will have a “View Patient List” link in the My Patient view of the QMD. |
Clicking the link will display patient data for that metric.
The list can be filtered by facility and IKC Programs. All is the default for both filters. |
An IKC badge is shown in the Patient Name header for any patient enrolled in an IKC program. |
Click the QMD Metrics button to return to the chart view of the entire dashboard. |
Best Practices
Similar to the Patient List, each metric will have a link to "best practice" information related to that metric.
Clicking the “Best Practices” link at the top right of the section will open a separate window that contains additional resources and information about the metric. |
Download Patient List
The “Download My Patients List PDF” link allows you to generate a patient list in a PDF format. |
Once the Patient List is generated, a success message will appear containing an “Open PDF” link. |
To close the message, click the “X” in the top right-hand corner.
Click the “Open PDF” link, and a separate browser will open. You can view, download, or print the Patient List once opened.
