Computerized Provider Order Entry

Have more questions? Submit a request

Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) allows you to edit the In-Center Hemodialysis (ICHD) patient's Target Weight and Treatment Time in the patient's chart or while rounding. For orders edited on the day a patient is treating, the providers can select to apply the changes for today or future treatments.

Steps to Change an Order

  1. Click the ORDERS button

Please note

The modified order will be sent to CWOW for care team visibility once the sign order is selected. The order source is Computerized Provider Order Entry when the provider edits the order via CPOE. In Chairside, the new order is highlighted in orange. Current CWOW functionality requires a care team member to acknowledge any order changes that occur while the patient is being treated.

Navigating Orders

To minimize or expand the Order Change modal, click the ORDERS button or the arrows next to the X.
