Sub-Sections Under Patient Care
The Patient Care section of the chart has 3 sub-sections: Clinical Details, Rounding Summary and Intradialytic Flowsheet. |
When you open a patient's chart, the default view is the Clinical Details section under Patient Care.
Clinical Details
The Clinical Details section of the chart will display read-only comprehensive treatment and lab data relative to the patient’s modality.
Care categories include: Status, Fluid/BP, Adequacy, Access, Anemia, Nutrition, MBD, Infection, Psychosocial/TX Modality, and Other for the selected patient.
Navigate to a specific care category by selecting it using the "Go To" dropdown or scroll through the care categories using the scrollbar. |
NOTE: The "Go To” option under the Clinical Details tab will not be available if you use Internet Explorer (IE) 11 or older versions of the web browser.
The care categories can be collapsed or expanded for added flexibility. The dash will collapse the section and the plus will expand it. |
An orange notification displays to the right of the collapsed care category header when a patient has lab results within the past 30 days that are considered out of range.
If a “Go To” link is selected from either the top of the Clinical Details section (or from within the encounter note) you will be taken to that care category section with the data automatically expanded.
Rounding Summary
The Rounding Summary in the Patient Care tab contains up-to-date patient clinical data that can be used while rounding.
The summary data is conveniently located in one area with minimal scrolling. This summary resembles the old Snappy rounding report that was printed and placed at the chairside.
The following sections are displayed: Vitals, Treatment, Access, and Labs & Medications. |
Up to the last three months of lab data is available, and it has the same functionality as the labs in the Clinical Details tab.
Click the Mircera Info icon to see the patient's next dose. You can add new prescriptions by clicking on Medications.
Intradialytic Flowsheet
The Intradialytic Flowsheet contains up to 30 days of the vital signs and measurements monitored during an ICHD patient's hemodialysis treatment. It will include the following sub-tabs: Pre Tx Vitals, Intradialytic, and Post Tx Vitals. The default is Intradialytics.
You can view the chairside data for ICHD patients. The Intradialytic vitals are typically documented every 30 minutes. Click the treatment day to expand the treatment details.
Click the Pre Tx Vitals tab to view the vitals taken before the treatment. |
Click the Post Tx Vitals tab to view the vitals recorded after the treatment. |
