Dialysis Schedule on Mobile

The Dialysis Schedule will provide the ability to view the provider's schedule, start an encounter note, view patient charts and finalized encounter notes, and see visual indicators showing whether any encounter notes were created for a particular patient for the current month, all from your mobile phone. Location Services

The dialysis facility nearby can be found and loaded if Location Services are enabled. Geolocation or Location Services uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hotspot locations to determine your approximate location. The dialysis facility nearest to your geolocation will auto-populate.

Filters

The dialysis facility can be manually selected in order to populate the schedule if the location services are not enabled.

Filters are available to choose specific criteria for the dialysis schedule.

Multiple filters can be selected.

When viewing the Dialysis Schedule, use the Filters icon located at the bottom of the screen to navigate back to modify your Filter criteria.  Mobile-DialysisSchedule-Filters-icon.png

The Dialysis Schedule can be filtered by the selections below.

Filter Description
Facility The facility where the patients are receiving treatment.  The options are the facilities where the provider is credentialed.
Patients The provider’s relationship with the patient.  The default is My Patients.  The options for a physician are: My Patients, All Current Patients, and Covering Patients. 
Modality The patient’s treatment modality.  The default is ICHD.  The options are: ICHD and HHD/PD.  The ICHD filter option includes (In-Center Hemodialysis) and AKI (Acute Kidney Injury) patients.  The HHD, PD filter option includes HHD (Home Hemodialysis) and PD (Peritoneal Dialysis) patients.  
Day The patient’s day of dialysis.  The default is today’s day.  The options are: Mon through Sun.
Shift The patient’s assigned shift.
COVID-19 Status COVID-19 status of the patient.  The options are: Pos, Asym, Sym, and All.

List Display

The Dialysis Schedule results are sorted by the patient’s last name. If you are viewing all Shifts, the list will be sorted by Shift and then the patient's last name. The patient’s name, age, date of birth, gender, shift, and modality will be listed. If the vaccination records were entered, the patient’s COVID-19 vaccination status is displayed in the banner.

Time Left on Dialysis

If the patient has started dialysis, the time they have remaining on their current dialysis treatment will display as a countdown, and will be in an orange font if they have 15 minutes or less remaining.

 

If the treatment has ended, "Done" will display.

 

Not Started” will appear for patients treating on the given day but have not started their treatment yet.

TIP

The patient’s time left on dialysis (TDOL) can be refreshed by holding your finger on the screen and pulling downward.

Station Number and Missed Treatments

The station number in which the patient is treating displays* to assist in finding your patients in the clinic.

*This information will only display for patients for whom you are their primary nephrologist or covering physician.

Missed Tx” displays for those patients scheduled to receive treatment in the current shift or past shift but have not shown up for their treatment.

Encounter Note Indicators

Visual indicators represent the potential encounter notes and whether or not a note was created for a particular patient for the current month.

A filled green box indicates the encounter note was finalized or amended and finalized, while a dotted orange outline represents an in-progress encounter note.

A white box indicates no notes are created for that type of encounter for the current month.

Creating New Encounter Notes

There are several ways to create an encounter note from the Dialysis Schedule in OneView Mobile.

Tapping any of the blank buttons will create a new note of that type.

Notes can also be started by tapping the blue "+" icon and then selecting the appropriate note type.

 

Your options are ICHD Comprehensive Note, Limited Encounter and Non Visit Note.

 

Tap the appropriate note type to start the encounter note.

In Progress Encounter Notes

Encounter notes that are In Progress (started or amended but not finalized) are displayed with an orange dashed border.

Tap the In-Progress note, and the Edit, View PDF, and Cancel action options appear. 

Editing or Amending an Encounter

You will have the option to edit an In Progress Comprehensive note or amend a Finalized Comprehensive note.

After editing or amending the note, use the most applicable option to save or close the note.

Viewing the Encounter PDF

To view a PDF of a finalized or amended encounter, select the encounter and tap View PDF.

 

To return to the dialysis schedule, tap “Dismiss” at the bottom of the screen.

NOTE: Selecting an In Progress Limited note will display the PDF as well.
