The encounter notes created for the patient can be downloaded, viewed, and printed. All encounter types are available for download except for the Non Billable Note. The download icon is located in the Provider Notes section to the right of the encounter type.

Access
Staff members with Practice Super User and Clinical access can download encounter documents directly from the Clinical Summary tab of the patient’s chart. All encounter types are available for download except for the Non-Billable Note. The download icon is located to the right of the encounter type.
Filters
The list includes all finalized and in-progress notes created in OneView. The default filter is the past 60 days of active notes, but it can be changed by selecting the dropdown to choose the past 6 months, year, or 2+ years or by selecting the Show Inactive checkbox.
The note detail will include the note type, encounter date, the physician who created the note, and note status. Encounters marked as having a completed H&P will show the HP indicator next to the encounter note type.
Alternative Option
Another option is to go to “DOCUMENT DOWNLOAD”, the non-provider practice user that has been granted permission has the option to filter by month, year, date of birth, and patient name before clicking “SUBMIT”. Searching and downloading encounter notes can only be done for one patient at a time. Only encounter notes finalized or finalized and amended by the physician will be available to download.
