Deactivating and Reactivating Encounter Notes

Encounter notes can be deactivated if they were created in error. Similarly, deactivated encounter notes can be reactivated.

Please note

Any provider can deactivate or reactivate an encounter note.

Deactivating an Encounter Note

Under Provider Notes, select the Deactivate this Note icon for the applicable encounter note. CS-ProviderNotes-Deactivate.png
You will be prompted to enter a reason prior to selecting Deactivate to confirm the action. CS-ProviderNotes-Deactivate-reason.png

Reactivating an Encounter Note

Under Provider Notes, select the ALL filter to view all notes for the selected patient. CS-ProviderNotes-All.png
Locate the applicable note and select Reactivate this Note. CS-ProviderNotes-Reactivate.png
Select Reactivate to confirm the action. CS-ProviderNotes-Reactivate-confirm.png

The note will be reactivated and display when filtering the list by active provider notes as well.
