Practice

The Practice setting allows physicians to assign their association with a specific practice and add non-providers practice users so they can access a limited read-only version of OneView.

Physician Practice Association

Under Practice, the physician must confirm their practice association.  The physician’s practice association is pulled from Falcon Silver.  The provider can confirm their association with that practice, search for the appropriate practice if the match from Falcon Silver is incorrect, or create a new practice if theirs is not listed.  Once the provider has associated with the practice, all of the physician’s collaborating NPPs are confirmed and that practice information displays at the top of the screen.  Providers can disassociate with a practice at any time.  Physicians that have not confirmed their association display with a blue Pending banner at the top of their information.

NOTE: The non-provider practice user can create and download the Monthly Visit Summary report only for providers that have confirmed their practice association.  Providers are available as a selection in the “Physicians” dropdown on the Monthly Visit Summary report for the non-provider practice users after the provider has confirmed their practice association.


To assign practice association:

STEP 1: Select Settings > Practice from the left navigation menu

STEP 2: Click the Accept button if the practice information pulled from Falcon Silver is correct

NOTE: If you click Accept, the practice association is complete and requires no further action. 

STEP 3: If the practice is incorrect, click No, Next Step button

STEP 4: Enter the required search criteria

NOTE: If your practice is not listed, you can create the practice.

STEP 5: Click the Join button

STEP 6: Click the Confirm button to join the practice


To disassociate the physician practice association:

STEP 1: Click the X under the My Practice section

STEP 2: Click the Confirm button

STEP 3: Enter the required search criteria

NOTE: If your practice is not listed, click Create Your Practice and enter the required practice information.

STEP 4: Click the Join button

STEP 5: Click the Confirm button to join the practice


The physician's email address can be edited after you have confirmed your practice association.  The physician’s email address is pulled from Falcon Silver but can be revised. 

To edit email address:

STEP 1: Select Settings > Practice from the left navigation menu

STEP 2: Click the Edit icon

NOTE: The physician can only edit their email not other physicians.

STEP 3: Update email address information

NOTE: Only the email address field can be modified.  Please contact DaVita Support to modify your name.

STEP 4: Click the Submit button


Physicians can edit the practice demographics after they have confirmed their practice association.  The practice information is pulled from Falcon Silver but can be revised.  This functionality is currently only available to physicians.

To edit the practice demographics:

STEP 1: Click the Edit icon

NOTE: If the practice demographics are modified, it will change the demographic information for all of the practice associated providers.

STEP 2:Update appropriate practice demographic information

NOTE: All fields can be modified except for the Practice Name.

STEP 3:Click the Confirm button


Non-Provider Practice Users

A physician can give non-provider practice users limited read-only access to OneView.  Non-provider practice users can view practice setting information and patient data reports.  The ability to assign limited read-only access to non-provider practice users is available after the provider has completed the practice association process. 

The non-provider practice user’s first name, last name, and email address are required.  The email address will be the non-provider practice user’s username.  Physicians should only enter the email address associated with their practice.  Do not enter the non-provider practice user’s personal email address. 

The non-provider practice user will receive a registration email from no-reply@davita.com to join OneView after the user information is submitted.  The registration expires after 7 days from the date of the email.  A blue Pending banner with the number of days until the account expires will display above the user’s information.  If the registration expires, the user is removed from the practice and will have to be re-added by the physician.

If the registration process is completed, an additional email is sent to the non-provider practice user and will contain the OneView link, Username (their email address), and a temporary password.  The temporary password is valid for 24 hours.  During the initial login, the user will enter the username and temporary password received in the email.  The user is prompted to change their password upon login.

The user can click “ Trouble Signing On?” from the Login screen if the temporary password has expired or they need account recovery.

To add a non-provider practice user:

STEP 1: Select Settings > Practice from the left navigation menu

STEP 2: Click +ADD in the Practice Staff area

STEP 3: Complete the required fields

STEP 4: Click the SUBMIT button

NOTE: Physicians should only enter the email address associated with their practice.  Do not enter the non-provider practice user’s personal email address.


Non-Provider Practice User Registration

The non-provider practice user must complete the registration process for limited read-only access to OneView.  After the physician from the practice has added the non-provider practice user, an email invitation is sent to them to join the practice in OneView.  Upon completing the non-provider practice user registration process, an email with instructions on how to access OneView is sent.

To complete the non-provider user registration:

STEP 1: Click the Click here link in the invitation email send from no-reply@davita.com

STEP 2: Complete the User Details required fields

NOTE: The email address is your User ID and cannot be edited.

STEP 3: Click the Next button

STEP 4: Accept or Reject the practice demographics and complete the required fields

NOTE: Selecting reject terminates the registration process. 

STEP 5: Click the Next button


STEP 6:
 Accept or Decline the Terms of Service

NOTE: Selecting decline terminates the registration process. 

If the registration process is complete, an email is sent and will contain the OneView link, User ID, and the temporary password.  The user will be prompted to change their password upon login.


Terminate Non-Provider Practice Users Access

A physician from the practice can terminate any non-provider practice user’s limited read-only access to OneView.  The ability to terminate a non-provider practice user is available after the physician has completed the practice association process. 

To terminate the non-provider practice user, click the “ X” icon above the user’s information.

A pop-up window appears to verify the removal of the non-provider practice user.

After the user is removed, the user’s details are removed from the “Practice Staff” section within Practice settings and the user receives an email from no-reply@davita.com that they no longer have access to the practice in OneView.  The email is sent to the email address that was associated with the user’s account.
