Expired Pending Prescriptions
On the Clinical Summary tab under the patient’s Medications list, an icon indicates when an e-prescribed prescription has expired due to not being signed by the provider within 30 days of entering it in the patient’s chart.
Hover over the expired icon to receive more information about the prescription status.
If you would like to submit a new prescription for the medication, you must discontinue the medication by clicking the Remove icon and then adding the medication again.
